DUBLIN, Ireland – September 8th, 2009 – Gala Networks Europe is proud to announce that the brand new expansion – Act V: Cursed Paradise – is coming to the European versions of Flyff in November. It will be available on French and German versions, and the expansion adds a diverse range of new content including a brand new continent to explore, and two new team-instance dungeons.

The newly discovered lost continent of Harmonin is packed with ancient mysteries to uncover. Set on a tropical island filled with lakes and jungles, Harmonin has many new difficult tasks for players to complete. Fight against high level monsters on your own or team up with some friends to enter either of the dangerous dungeons as a team instance.

Hidden deep in the heart of the rainforest, the two dungeons await those who feel they are capable and brave enough to handle them.  The patch notes for today’s build of Darkfall are now available. Today’s patch is significant as it will lay the groundwork for Darkfall’s upcoming October Expansion update. The patch includes a number of changes, the highlights of which you can find below:

Ship improvements: A number of naval warfare improvements are included in today’s patch, such as a reduction in speed for damaged ships so they are unable to flee as easily, an overall reduction of ship HP, relaxed requirements on the production of ships, and more.

Crafting: The pace at which players will skill up in crafting has been increased when producing higher tier weapons.

Visual Updates: A number of visual improvements have been made to the game world.

Weapons: New elemental bows and one handed clubs have been added to the game.

Magic: A balance pass has been made on magic abilities and schools. Some things have been improved such as an increase in skill up rates for the different schools, and a reduction in ingredient costs for various spells. While other aspects have been toned down, such as more strict requirements on AoE spells and backstabbing.

UI Improvements: A bevy of UI improvements have been implemented with today’s patch, one such example is the inclusion of first person animations for bows, staves and grenades while running and walking.

Village System: Village control points will output an increased rate of gold, but will be balanced by a reduction in health. Also, players will be alerted 30 minutes before a village becomes vulnerable.

El Segundo, Calif – June 25, 2009 – OGPlanet announced today that the Soul & Siena expansion is now live in CABAL Online, its action MMORPG. This expansion offers new challenges to the high-level veterans of CABAL Online.

Soul and Siena introduces the Soul Ability System, greatly expanding the skills that characters can acquire. Ability Experience Points will be earned alongside regular experience points, and can be spent on Essence Runes that give players the passive skills of their choosing. Players will begin acquiring Ability Experience Points when their characters reach level 120 and can earn them in fields, dungeons or Mission Wars. There are 26 unique Essence Runes available, representing such diverse combat skills as Knockback Resistance, Magic or Defense Increase, Experience Point Bonus, and Sword or Magic Skill Amplification.

Players itching to try out their newly gained skills need look no further than Altar of Siena, the brand-new dungeon located in Mutant Forest. Soon their characters will be adorned with the Shiny SIGMetal armor sets and epaulets that drop in the new dungeon.

In addition to all of the new in-game developments, OGPlanet is instituting a sub password system to let CABAL players further secure their accounts. Using a four-digit in-game numeric password system, players will be able to lock their characters, equipment and warehouse with three unique passwords. The system also uses a soft keyboard system with randomized numerical characters, making it impossible for hackers to gain these passwords through key logging software.

  Asda Story is expanding on their PvP offering with the introduction of a new faction-based PvP system. Players will be able to select from one of three sides and fight large scale battles against each other. The Asda Story gold is also important. This new system also brings with it both PvP ranks and gear to acquire.

Players Can Compete For Ranking in Faction Warfare PVP And Earn Powerful And Rare Items

As part of the new system, players may select from one of the following Factions which will serve as their character’s PvP allegiance against other players’ Factions in the weeks to come: Light, Darkness, and Chaos. After players have selected which Faction they would like to fight for, they may apply for scheduled Faction War Battlefield matches that pit the three opposing Factions against one another in a fight to capture Fortresses around a special Battlefield Map, with additional warfare maps to follow soon.

Up to 30 players from each Faction may join in the fight, with up to 90 players mixing it up in intense combat at one time.

As each Battlefield fills, new ones will open to accommodate every player that wishes to participate in the fighting. Faction teams are balanced for each Battlefield based on level and number of players participating to ensure even, heart pounding fights every time. Split into Attack Units with Attack Captains leading their troops into the field, players are able to gain Warfare Points both by defeating players of the other Factions in direct combat, or capturing Fortresses owned by the other Factions located around the map.
